Bucks County Elder Law

Sarah Floyd

Director of Care Advocacy

Sarah Floyd, a third-generation Care Advocate, has been with the firm since 2012. Prior to moving to Pennsylvania, she was the Director of the Northwest Indiana Alzheimer’s Association, where she provided services and education to seven counties from her office in Valparaiso.

Advocating for seniors and persons with disabilities is a skill that Sarah has been perfecting for almost three decades. Her extensive professional experience in social services, as well as her personal experiences as a caregiver for a dying parent, has enabled Sarah to become a highly effective, compassionate guide through the elder care system. She helps her clients ask better questions, organize their thoughts and follow through with their planning. She provides all of her clients with a comprehensive Life Care Plan.

Sarah received her B.S. in Psychology from Valparaiso University with a dual degree in Communications. She went on to complete her certification in Elder Care Coordination from Stockton College School of Social and Behavioral Science at the Stockton Center for Successful Aging in Galloway, New Jersey. She is a member of the Life Care Planning Law Firm Association; the Continuity of Care Association; the Bucks County Network Connections; and the Bucks County Long-Term Care Consortium.

Sarah lives in Pennsylvania with her husband, her two teenage children and three cats. She has an in-law suite where her husband’s parents reside. In her free time, Sarah is active in her church, where she loves to sing, support the choirs and attend any event where food is served.
